Balochistan: Revoke Musharraf Agreements: Mengal
Tuesday, 10 June 2008
Sample ImageBalochistan National Party chief Akhtar Mengal has called for all international agreements entered into under Musharraf without the consultation of Balochistan to be revoked and asserted that Pakistani military operations are continuing in Balochistan.

Below is an article published by topnews.in:

Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Akhtar Mengal has said that the new PPP-led coalition government was not taking any practical steps in resolving the Baloch issue, and that the military operation was also continuing in the province.

He said an end to the military operation in Balochistan was a ‘prerequisite’ for talks between the two sides.

The “Baloch people” had never refused to hold talks, and a mere apology to the people would not resolve the issue, the Daily Times quoted Mengal as saying in a TV interview.

He demanded of the Pakistan government revoke all Balochistan-related agreements signed with other countries during the rule of President Pervez Musharraf.
