Friday, 07 March 2008

Angolan officials of the Follow Up Group travel to Cabinda to access the progress of development projects in the region.

Below is an article published by All Africa:

The head of the government's Follow Up Group for the northern Cabinda Province, Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo", travelled to that region for a working visit on Thursday [6 March 2008], ANGOP learnt.

Mr Ngongo, who is also the Interior minister, will get informed on social works underway in the province.

In Cabinda, he will meet with the province's governor, José Aníbal Lopes Rocha, as well as with members of the Provincial Council.

The government official will also inspect the Armed Forces work, based on rehabilitation of the roads that connect the airport to the city centre and the Cabassango/Futila route, in Cabinda District.
