Below is an article published by Jakarta Post:

Acehnese People's Party (PRA) denounces and protests the Malaysian government's plan to execute 38 worker[s] from Aceh and other Indonesian provinces working in the neighboring country, a party spokesperson said.

The party also urged the Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) provincial administration to provide advocacy services for the workers, PRI spokesperson Raihan Diniati said Tuesday.

"An advocacy team should be set up to defend them," Raihan said.

The party also urged the local administration to lodge a protest against the planned execution and asked the Aceh governor to soon send a lette[r] to the Malaysian government to demand the release[e] of all the Indonesian workers, Raihan added.

He said the party would also prepare a team which would be sent to Malaysia to see the workers' condition[s].

Some 53 Indonesian workers in Malaysia were reported to be facing the death sentence for being allegedly involved in drug-related cases.

Some 38 of the workers were from NAD, 7 from North Sumatra, 2 from Madura, 1 from Riau, 1 from East Java, 1 from Bali, 1 from West Nusa Tenggara and the rest from unidentified regions.
