UNPO Training Sessions at the UN during the WGIP 2006 |

UNPO will hold a series training session for Indigenous representatives and other participants at the UN Working Group on Indigenous Population, taking place this week in Geneva.
The trainings aim to enable the effective participation of indigenous representatives at the Working Group. In accordance with the one of the themes of this years session, the training will focus on The WGIP & Indigenous Peoples and Conflict Prevention/Resolution.
The next training session will be held on Wednesday 2 August, 2 - 3 pm, in Room VIII. It will offer Insight into Key UN Instruments & the New HRC Effective Use and Participation.
