Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said addressing the problems facing people of Balochistan is top priority of government.
Prime Minister said this in his meeting with governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi here Thursday [July 9, 2009] in Prime Minister house. Governor Balochistan briefed the prime minister with reference to ongoing uplift projects in Balochistan.
Prime Minister held out assurance to governor Balochistan federal government was fully alive to the unrest prevailing among the people of Balochistan and was taking sincere steps to sort out them.
Sources told prime minister said with regard to All Parties Conference (APC) on Balochistan that government was engaged in consultation process with all stakeholders and APC would be convened when this process was completed.
