A meeting of Georgian and Abkhazian delegations, representatives of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces and of the UN military observer mission began in the village of Chuburkhindzhi in Abkhazia on Thursday.
The meeting is held today in a format somewhat different from usual, the Abkhazian presidents spokesman Kristian Bzhania told ITAR-TASS.

The meeting is held with the chairmanship of the Abkhazian president s representative in the Gali district, Ruslan Kishmaria, and a representative the Georgia president in the Zugdidi district, with mediation of the commander of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces, Major-General Serge Chaban, and the participation of the UN mission of military observers, Bzhania said.
He described a main goal of the meeting as technical.

It is planned to finally agree upon a list of members of delegations to the coordinating council, the latest meeting of which did not take place just for the reason of a lack of agreement on candidacies of the Georgian side. This work should be done in order misunderstandings do not arise later, Bzhania said,
The four-party meetings in the village of Chuburkhindzhi have been regularly held since 1994 when the Collective Peacekeeping Forces and UN military observers came to the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict area.
The current situation in the area is discussed at the meetings.
