TÜRKSOY International Organization of Turkic Culture organizes the Navrez celebration around the world. TÜRKSOY has invited actors of the Crimean Tatar Music and Drama Theatre to participate to celebrate in the Turkic spring holiday in the USA this year. The delegation consists of 10 cultural workers: the manager and artistic director of the theatre Bilâl Bilâl, the dancing troupe, soloists Seitabla Mehmet and Emine Cevdet.

Tonight [7 March 2013] actors had flown to the USA. They will appear on the stage in Washington, New York, Boston. Altogether, 6 concerts are planned. The Crimean Tatars will appear not only before the Crimean Tatar diaspora, but they show all beauty of the national culture for the UNO.

Note: The International Organization of Turkic Culture (Turkish: Uluslararası Türk Kültürü Teşkilatı, TÜRKSOY) is an international cultural organization of countries with Turkic populations, speaking languages belonging to the Turkic language family. Other than being an abbreviation of the former official name "Türk Kültür ve Sanatları Ortak Yönetimi" - Joint Administration of Turkic Culture and Arts, "Türksoy" is a compound noun, in Turkish, made up of the words "Türk" (Turkish) and "soy" (ancestry).

The General Secretary of TÜRKSOY is Duisen Kaseinov, former Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan. TÜRKSOY has its headquarters in Ankara, Turkey.
