The Crimean Tatars have done much for the democratization of Ukraine, Chairman of the Crimean Association of Political Scientists Mr. Oleksandr Formanchuk has said on air of ATR TV channel.

He noted that the Crimean Tatars should not forget the sense of duty to the state.
“The return of the Crimean Tatars to their homeland is largely due to the current Ukrainian government, which has taken the brunt of the cost,” the expert stressed.

At the same time, Mr. Formanchuk admitted that despite the fact that Ukraine has done much for the Crimean Tatars, it is still in debt to the people.

“This is not so simple to resettle all the people who have returned, to solve all problems and revive their culture, language,” he concluded.
