The authorities gradually solve the problem issues on resettlement of Crimean Tatars, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said at a meeting of the public humanitarian council.

"There are certain improvements. The parliament has passed the law "On restoration of rights to the deported due to nationality". However, there is a lot of work left to do,' Yanukovych pointed out.

Nowadays, the President noted, Ukraine is one of the key elements of world migration processes due to its unique geographical position, hence the ethnic composition of the population changes constantly.

"Recent migrants and refugees inevitably become a part of the inter-ethnic relations, and the state and society should be ready to accept this process and using world experience to provide necessary rights and freedoms to all ethnic groups," Yanukovych underlined.
