Tibet: UN to Hear Briefing on Human Rights
Representatives of H.H. the Dalai Lama, the International Campaign for Tibet, and UNPO will participate in a briefing organised by the Society for Threatened People, Helsinki Foundation For Human Rights and MRAP at the Palais the Nations in Geneva on 13 March 2012.

The briefing comes as the International Campaign for Tibet releases the most recent in its reports into the ongoing spate of self-immolations that have swept the Tibetan plateau. This comes as human rights abuses committed by Chinese state authorities continue and their perpetrators go unpunished.
