Crimean Tatars: Negotiating At The European Level

The delegation of the Crimean Tatar Majlis will take part in “German – Crimean Tatar dialogue”, which is to be held in Germany on June 27 – 28.
The event is organized by the Association on contribution of the Eastern Europe.
According to the report of the Head of Foreign Relations of the Majlis Ali Khamzin, on June 15 a meeting between the Chairman of Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, MP Mustafa Cemil and the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine Tanya Bayer was held in Kyiv.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the programme of the future visit of the delegation of the Crimean Tatar Majlis in Germany, which is planned to take place on June 27 – 28 in the frame of “German – Crimean Tatar dialogue”.
The parties also discussed the key questions of Crimean Tatars, interrelation of Majlis with the government of Crimea and Ukraine, and humanitarian programmes for which they need assistance from the Fund of the Goethe Institute in Ukraine to realize.
