Below is an article published by The Daily Times:

An independent inquiry commission will be formed to investigate the killings of former Balochistan governor Nawab Akbar Bugti and other Baloch leaders, a private TV channel quoted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Balochistan President Senator Nawab Lashkari Raisani as saying on Tuesday.

Raisani told the channel that the commission would work under the proposed Balochistan package. The PPP leader, however, did not give details of the package. He said the reconciliation committee on Balochistan would meet Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani today (Wednesday) to finalise the proposed package.

To a question, the PPP leader said the package would address the people’s problems, adding that all political parties should support it.

He said democracy was working well in the country and it was high time to deliver for the betterment of the people. He concluded that an all parties’ conference (APC) would be called soon to address the issues his province was facing.

Earlier, he told Radio Pakistan that all political parties and stakeholders, as well as those opposing the proposals would be consulted to evolve a consensus.
